Sunekos Aftercare

You have undergone a Sunekos mesotherapy treatment and there may be some redness,  swelling, tenderness and bruising around injection points. This is normal and will subside usually within a few days.

  1. Do not touch your face for four hours.
  2. Avoid applying make up and vigorous exercise for 12 hours.
  3. Avoid alcohol for 24 hours after treatment to reduce bruising risk.
  4. Immediately after treatment there may be slight redness, swelling, bruising tenderness and an itching sensation in the treated area. These reactions are temporary and generally disappear in a few days. The Sunekos boluses typically take 24 to 48 hours to fully disappear.
  5. Arnica tablets/gel can be used to help reduce bruising and increase the rate bruising disappears. Please use the pot of arnica a gel provided liberally.
  6. Until the initial swelling and redness have resolved, do not expose the treated area to intense heat or extreme cold. A cold ice pack (provided) can be applied to the treated area to minimise swelling and bruising risk. LED red light is safe to use.
  7. Do not massage or manipulate the treated area.
  8. Protect your skin with SPF50.

Effects can take several weeks to appear.
