Sunekos Aftercare
You have undergone a Sunekos mesotherapy treatment and there may be some redness, swelling, tenderness and bruising around injection points. This is normal and will subside usually within a few days.
- Do not touch your face for four hours.
- Avoid applying make up and vigorous exercise for 12 hours.
- Avoid alcohol for 24 hours after treatment to reduce bruising risk.
- Immediately after treatment there may be slight redness, swelling, bruising tenderness and an itching sensation in the treated area. These reactions are temporary and generally disappear in a few days. The Sunekos boluses typically take 24 to 48 hours to fully disappear.
- Arnica tablets/gel can be used to help reduce bruising and increase the rate bruising disappears. Please use the pot of arnica a gel provided liberally.
- Until the initial swelling and redness have resolved, do not expose the treated area to intense heat or extreme cold. A cold ice pack (provided) can be applied to the treated area to minimise swelling and bruising risk. LED red light is safe to use.
- Do not massage or manipulate the treated area.
- Protect your skin with SPF50.
Effects can take several weeks to appear.
