Welcome to Shore Skin Clinic. By booking an appointment or using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. About Us
Shore Skin Clinic is a skin clinic offering aesthetic treatments and skincare services. Our registered business address and contact details are available on our website at shoreskin.co.uk.
2. Treatments
We provide a range of aesthetic and skincare treatments including but not limited to facials, skin consultations, chemical peels, microneedling, injectable treatments, laser therapies, LED therapy, and skincare product recommendations. All treatments are carried out by qualified and insured practitioners.
3. Consultations & Suitability
A consultation may be required before certain treatments to assess your suitability. We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue any treatment if we believe it is not in your best interest, is medically contraindicated, or if relevant medical information has not been disclosed. No refund will be issued in such circumstances.
4. Complication Management & External Treatments
Shore Skin Clinic does not provide complication management for treatments carried out by other practitioners or clinics. If you are a new patient seeking correction or management of complications from treatment received elsewhere, we are unable to assist with this and would advise you to return to your original provider.
For existing patients, if you choose to receive treatment at another clinic, please be aware that we will be unable to correct, manage, or take responsibility for any issues that arise as a result of that treatment.
With regard to dermal filler specifically, if filler has been placed by another practitioner, we are unable to adjust, correct, or add to that area. This is to ensure your safety and the integrity of your results.
5. Bookings & Appointments
Appointments can be booked online via our website or by contacting us directly. By booking an appointment, you agree to provide accurate personal and medical information and to attend at the scheduled date and time. We recommend arriving 5-10 minutes before your appointment. Late arrivals may result in a shortened treatment time or, where necessary, rescheduling.
6. Cancellation & No-Show Policy
We require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice for any cancellation or rescheduling. If you cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice, fail to attend your appointment, or arrive too late for treatment to proceed, a charge of £50 will be applied to the card held on file. This policy exists to respect the time of our practitioners and other clients who may be waiting for availability.
7. Payment & Card on File
When booking an appointment, you will be asked to provide card details which will be securely held on file. Your card will only be charged in the event of a late cancellation or no-show as outlined above. Full payment for treatments is due at the time of your appointment unless otherwise agreed. We accept card payments and any other methods displayed in clinic.
8. Pricing
All prices are displayed on our website and in clinic. We reserve the right to update our pricing at any time. You will always be informed of the cost of your treatment before it begins. Any promotional offers are subject to their own specific terms and expiry dates.
9. Aftercare & Results
Aftercare instructions will be provided following your treatment and must be followed to support the best possible outcome. Results vary between individuals and are not guaranteed. Shore Skin Clinic cannot be held responsible for outcomes where aftercare advice has not been followed.
10. Medical History & Consent
You are required to complete a consultation form and provide an accurate medical history before treatment. This includes disclosing any medications, allergies, medical conditions, or previous treatments. Failure to disclose relevant information may affect the safety and outcome of your treatment. Written consent will be obtained before any procedure is carried out.
11. Complaints
We take all complaints seriously. If you are unhappy with any aspect of your experience, please contact us as soon as possible so we can resolve the matter. Complaints should be raised within 14 days of the treatment in question.
12. Liability
Shore Skin Clinic carries appropriate professional and public liability insurance. While every care is taken, we are not liable for adverse reactions or complications that arise from undisclosed medical information, failure to follow aftercare advice, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
13. Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers, where offered, are valid for the period stated at the time of purchase. They are non-refundable, non-transferable for cash, and must be presented at the time of the appointment. Lost or stolen vouchers cannot be replaced.
14. Privacy & Data Protection
We collect and process your personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Your information is used to provide our services, manage your bookings, and communicate with you. Card details held on file are stored securely and are never shared with third parties beyond what is necessary to process payments. 15. Intellectual Property
All content on our website including text, images, logos, and design is the property of Shore Skin Clinic and may not be reproduced without written permission.
16. Changes to These Terms
